Project Description
The goal for the project was initially to make the website faster; on GTMetrix, before my intervention, it landed about a 60% -at best-… Once I re designed it and rebuilt it from sracth, it went to 98%. The client’s primary objective was to create an engaging and informative e-commerce platform to promote and sell their range of biohacking products. They wanted to emphasize the health benefits of their offerings and the unique value proposition of their biohack solutions. The goal was to motivate site visitors to not only purchase products but also become members of the client’s global community and participate in their rewards program.
In response to the client’s needs, I designed a vibrant and energetic website that highlights the client’s products using a modern and inviting aesthetic. I ensured that the site structure facilitated easy navigation for users to explore products, learn about the benefits, and join the member rewards program. My work included custom graphics and interactive elements to engage visitors, along with implementing e-commerce functionality for a smooth shopping experience. SEO optimization was a key focus to increase visibility and organic search traffic. For this project I implemented a custom, starter theme I wrote and I use for client projects, which has its own builder for content (text and images) and a CLI tool for efficient creation of pages and content.
The website was an immediate hit, effectively capturing the brand’s essence and driving customer engagement. The clear, concise messaging coupled with the dynamic design led to an increased time on site and a lower bounce rate. The integration of the member rewards program resulted in a notable uptick in community membership sign-ups and repeat customer purchases. The site has successfully processed over 2.3 million product sales since it’s release, indicating the client’s immense satisfaction with the platform’s performance and its contribution to their explosive sales growth.
